hi everyone
just thought i would update you on this situation.

I contacted the non payer (and no longer customer) and said if they didn't contact me by certain day then i would instruct debt collection people.
I gave her the option to pay in installments if she was having problems making the payment. This was the 3rd communication.
1) original agreement signed, and invoice issued
2) reminder invoice
3) threat of debt collection and damaged credit rating.

;D it worked, but don't know if i could actually act on this if i had to? did i lie?

Yes, you have lied, shamelessly.
You are a bad person and will not get into heaven.

Send her the money back and clean her house for free for the rest of the year.

Yes, but it would have cost you more than 40 quid to do it. If you had gone the small claims route that would have effected her credit, so there is a bit of truth in what you have said.

You may get into heaven after all. But only by the skin of your teeth. If you do anything else bad you have no chance so from now on you must lead a Holy and blameless life.

You could start by building a small church in  your back garden ( surely your parents will not object to this ), during times of non-worship it could double as an office for you.

God Bless you all.
