Bit harsh...
If my parents were still around I reckon they'd be really proud if I became a MOD on this forum, it was all they spoke about when I was growing up...

(Those dodgy looking symbols around those shapes you're reading on are called punctuation marks by they way.)

My son-in-law has dyslexia and goes fishing.

Last week I sent him a text asking him how he got on and he replied "A load of carp!"

I didn't know whether to congratulate him or commiserate with him really.
It's a game of three halves!

Good grief! You don't think I admit to my family I'm a) a window Cleaner and b) a MOD on a window cleaning forum? We all have our guilty secrets and dark side which we keep to ourselves.  ;D

Before anyone takes the Mick out of anyone that has spelling or grammar problems. Why not take a good look in the mirror and see what an ass looks like.  Its mostly the ones with many faults and don`t want anyone to see the defects. I cannot stand this condescending attitude around this forum. It must be tough being born perfect with a small mind without compassion for those not able to master spelling or grammar.

Or if like myself, i use my smart phone to access this forum and many a times my fat thumbs will tap the wrong small key on my touch screen keypad. Combined with not being bothered to proof read before i hit the "post" bottom,  it may look like im dyslexic, but that would be far from the truth. Too lazy to proof read or just too busy to care, when snatching ten minutes to read some posts and maybe respond?

Thats how i take most peoples spelling errors or poor  grammar. I do find it funny however, that the ones who highlight the mistakes are also the guilty members themselves of the same mistakes.
But at the end of the day, does it truly matter on a forum about gossip/tips and working matters of grown men cleaning windows.....??

If it's that bad, clear off? The very basics of running a business are surely the three "r"s.

Always seems to be the spelling retarded who do all the boasting/lying too.

when you point the finger at someone theres usually 3 pointing back at you! ;D

ON TOPIC customers come and go(most stay for years though)but they have no obligation to you to keep you on.they can be fickle and will drop you for all sorts of reasons(the truth is they cant afford it or found someone cheaper usually).

when every door closes another one opens.all our rounds are built on subtle shifting sands. ;D
price higher/work harder!

Just had one says she's cancelling because she's not 100% happy with wfp but she says she might need me again in spring?
Pull the other one it's got bells in it.

If it's that bad why might you want me back?

If I take her back price is going up.

Iv just sacked another one off, expecting me to include her big conservatory roof in the windows price because she's cleared loads of crap from her garden so I can now get access to it  ???
When I said she doesn't need it doing everything month and I'm going to have to put the price up, she got pretty p****d off and said carry on as normal. Made me feel like a child , so got in my van and went. On top of that she kept forgetting to pick her dog crap up even though I txt her the night before AND she doesn't even like me working in drizzle! 🙄🙄
Good riddance I say

Really annoys me when custys don't value your time and think you can just fit the conny roof in for free or give their fascias a 'quick' wipe over  like you've nothing better to do

I had this customer in the summer I've cleaned them
For 10 years + he said to me if I give you another couple of quid will you do my conny roof everytime,i said I don't think so do you he looked at me and smiled sarcastically as if to say it was worth a try. He's never asked me since I said I can give you a price if you want.
