Even with family and friends someone still needs to foot the bill, just with family and friends they give you the option to pay the PayPal costs whereas if you just select to pay for a service PayPal automatically charges you as the service provider.

I don't bother cleaning again if they miss a payment and Iv sent a txt reminder. There's a lot more people out there who do want to pay me

I put a 5% postage charge on my paypal account, so if a customer wants to pay £10 it charges them £10.50p.
I explain to the customer that generally its cheaper than a stamp but if they want a free service then use the BACS system. The 5% more or less covers the Paypal charges, sometimes more sometimes less, generally I come out even. Everybody is fine with it.

Paypal. I take it reluctantly. I used to save the payments until the end of the month and transfer them across until they decided to investigate the account. For nearly a week I had no access to my money and could not get a reason other than "we investigate accounts"
Faceless idiots and expensive compared to GoCardless, all for a couple of hundred grand a month. 
  I now transfer each payment when it comes in.

same here too(plus standing orders).if they dont want to pay by any of these methods then i dont clean their windows.simple.
