Another joke moan.
They fit you in quick, so you can get working quicker?
Did they move work around to fit you in? did you ask?
£414 - VAT = £345 - stainless bolts and plates = fitted right, ask anyone who has had a system fitted by Pure Freedom and it's a top job.

I had already paid for the bolts and plates. Thanks for dragging this back to the top. PF will be well chuffed.

I had a system fitted by them a few years back,I paid a deposit on the day of ordering my system  and paid the balance when job was done,I thought fitting the system was part of the package.
Anyway I was quite chuffed  but  since then my mechanic used to take it out and put in a different van for as little as £200.00  ;D

I had a quote from a company that regularly post on this site to remove a diesel heater (originally fitted by Pure Freedom) and they wanted £415 incl VAT. I had to bring the vehicle to them.

I took it to my local garage who made a very neat job of removing the diesel heater and they charged me £60 incl VAT. It took them 1 hour.

Amazingly this was a saving of over £350.

I can't see anything wrong with drop shipping such large items. It makes sense for a retailer to do it that way.

If it's going into the vehicles fuel tank it's more involved if it's not its simpler, even if it's going into a onboard fuel source they would still need to drill through the floor of the van for the exhaust etc. The wiring in diesel heaters is not the complicated part it's the fitting they weigh a hell of a lot too to look at you wouldn't think it but they are heavy,if I was to fit one in a smaller van I would fit it in the center of the van coz of the weight I can't understand why pure freedom fit them just inside the side loading door on most vans the passenger side tyres front and rear won't last as long as they should do.

It had a separate fuel tank so was a simple job. The £415 quote was to simply remove an Isothermal 1 (webasto) diesel unit originally fitted by PF. I did not want the heater reinstalled (waste of time, money and space in my experience)

I waited at my local garage while they did the job. It took 1 hour and they charged me £60 and did a very neat job.

If I were more practically inclined I might have done it myself.

Do you wear your tyres out on the drivers side then lardy?

I thought PWCs' original post was quite a reasoned point, but all people on here want to do is rubbish him. Not surprised he deleted his account.
