Did customer today.

He installed and services our boiler.

Never works out monthly as he's always decorating or adding more  bathrooms in his house.

Haven't been for 4 months.

Did all outside windows and some inside.

Did outside and inside of bathroom windows.

Noticed a diagonal faint scratch about 5 inches long on outside of one of the bathroom windows.

And then on the inside of another bathroom window there was a cluster of fine scratches about 3 inches long, vertical scratches.


These are new windows, I used waffle clothes and a trigger spray bottle with pure and gg3 inside, windows had plaster dust on the inside. (no razors used by me).

Outside windows I used a gardeners super lite brush soft flocked one, pure water wfp with a touch of gg3.
I scrub window up down then rinse side to side.

Couldn't see how I could have been responsible for scratches either side of glass.

Am I wrong?

Customer was ok but stated windows were only a few months old.

Just felt awkward.

Why are you even bothering to do his windows if you are being messed about so much. 4months this time, 2 months next time and maybe monthly after that. Thats what it sounds like your saying, so why even bother!!??
Because ur a window shiner obviously its your fault, who else touches the windows?
No mate! The brushes we use are not going to scratch the glass unless ur a complete muppet, which im guessing your not.
Just get rid of bad baggage

Lee you know that all you've done is highlight the scratch that was already there. No doubt caused by the builders. I am always exceptionally wary of any new windows now saying that I will clean them and lets see if the builders have left any scratches. I am guessing you've cleaned this custys house a few times now. If he doesn't trust you by now then dump him. I had a plumber doing my girlfriends boiler supposed to be a friend of the family. When her boiler went wrong he said she needed a new one. Bearing in mind she is a single parent with an autistic child. I got it all sorted for 150 quid. Some friend! Wa**er.
