« on: August 09, 2016, 06:08:47 pm »
Hi guys,

Does anybody on here use a 4021 and what sort of results are you getting?

1, tds in
2, water pressure
3, tds out (before resin)
4, litres per hour

Also feel free to comment if you use a 4040.

Many thanks guys in advance.

I use a pure freedom 4040. water in 360ppm water out before resin 006ppm have it set at 60/40 and it takes  roughly 12 hours to fill 3x1000 ibc tanks over night.
Your welcome to come and have a look mate, im only over Nuxley village.

To be honest I don't see the point in buying a 4021 over a 4040 unless storage space is extremely tight (which I would of thought to be unusual).
A 4021 is slightly cheaper than a 4040, but the 4040 will produce pure water much faster so worth paying a bit more in my opinion.

totally agree ^^^^^

Upgrading to 2 x 4021 housings will cost much more when the time comes to replace membranes than a single 4040 membrane will.
