john guest to Clarke control unit????

hello, I'm having trouble fitting a john guest tap to a clarke control unit. I already use a Clarke pump and this control unit simply fits onto the pump. But I can't reduce the thread on the control unit to fit the ro John guest tap.. The manuel says the thread is 1" bsp, so I bought a female to male reducing screw 3/4 to 1" from gardiners but its not the correct size. anyone know the correct sizes

There's a difference bewteen 1" bsp and 25mm .
I suggest you take the unit into a plumbers merchant and get them to supply what you need.
There is some info on this recent thread

Hi Reflect
You should hopefully have already received this reply about this subject from our customer service team on Wednesday
The part that you ordered was a 1" to 3/4" female reducing bush which was not the correct part for screwing on to a male 1" thread that you have on your booster pump. This part is intended to reduce a female 1" thread to a 3/4" female thread.
In order to get this 1" male screw thread on your booster pump to a 1/2" John Guest tubing then you could use the following connectors:
1x
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/fittings-barbs-adapters-etc/screw-thread-fittings/female-to-female-connector.html
- 1" to 1"
1x

- 1" to 1/2"

Hopefully you have already received this information and have sorted the issue, if not this may help.
