van size 700L tank

A mate has just got a 700L tank and set up. He was wondering what size of van to get. I would go for a 350. Do you think this is too high a spec

While I don't think you can have too high a spec - if you have 700kg of water and two blokes and all the gear then you will be needing at least 1200kg payload.

3.5 T is the way to go. He may get away with 3.3T, but 3.5 are more plentiful second hand.
