Hi all

I have a clean to do. The house has been clad in Cedarwood, and where it has been oiled it's got all over the windows - is there any  product I can apply and scrub to remove it, or does it need a scraper? I hope not as there's lots of glass..

I removed some this week on a job and meths worked well.  Mineral Turpentine should be ok as well.

How do you apply it? And do you scrub with WFP? The frames are metal will it be ok on them?

I applied it using a rag dipped in the meths and was able to reach the outside from inside the house.  Should not be a problem with the metal frames but it is always a good idea to do a test first. I did actually wfp afterwards and dipped the brush in soapy water to help remove any residue.

Attached is a picture of the place we need to do.. Quite time consuming I think - there's a lot more glass that you can't see. Plus its cleaning all the grey metal cladding - that doesn't have oil on thankfully.
