Mark you need to sort that jet out the pattern is awful, and £50 ? You maybe tight but put it into perspective the number of hours faffing around to reinvent a readily available product is too cost effective
And quite simply you can just use your WFP gear and backpack

I enjoy playing around in my garage and making things so I am not that worried about how long it takes me to make I have ordered a load of different nozzles so it will be as good as the benz nozzle by the end of the week

In my last job i had plenty contacts for spray guns n stuff like that.  Basically all you need is a decent holder for nozzle n you are sorted. It seems you have the basics so far n just need to get it sorted.
