GrippaTank issues
« on: May 07, 2016, 09:57:33 am »
Am I the only one that has trouble with GrippaTank?

They are very nice people and always try and sort out your issues but their reliability for me is shocking.

Every order I've ever placed (part from one when I brought 1 item) there has been bits missing or something incorrect sent.

Even when I ordered my Vac, I had to wait 10 days for it and when it did come, it had no hose.

My most recent order was 2x 2 DI brackets, I received one set. I complained and they reckoned I could of missed it and put it in the bin with the bubble wrap. 2 big and heavy DI brackets accidentally in the bin.... Got to be a joke?

I don't think I will order anything again (this will be the 5th time I've said this) but I think its final this time.

Is it the same for everyone else, or just me?

They fitted my van system three years ago, and it's still in there, not gone missing. In fact, I've had to replace the odd pump since then which is to be expected but last week I had the first thing to go wrong with it - an internal hose split. Not bad for three years, daily usage.

Sounds like you have not had much luck  with grippatank order wise  ???
To be honest I've never used them so can't really comment what their service is like.

Why post then FFS?

Anyways I am local to GrippaTank and wouldn't dream of using anyone else for systems now.

I have had a few issues with parcels missing bits BUT they have ALWAYS sorted it out and that's why I go back. No company is perfect (Well maybe Gardiners lol)

Because it's good to know what issues some people have when ordering stuff off any supplier.
Put it this way if I had to wait 10 days for a guttervac and foud out when it was eventualy delivered it came without a hose I would be well peed off and probably cost me money on lost work due to the delay. Likewise been accuessed of putting 2 ro brackets in a bin by mistake whilts unwrapping the parcel would make my blood boil too.

Yes you are right no supplier is perfect but on the same note they should be as it's not that difficult to get it right first time surely?  ;D

2 Purefreedom systems with shurflo pumps in 2 vans since 07/08 not missed a beat.

I don't think under 3 years is great in all honesty and certainly not to be expected

Turns out, the D.I brackets they did send are the wrong size....

I'm sure there systems are good. I did receive a quote to have one of the vans kitted out. I decided against it as I was unsure it would be done correctly. It's a 4 hour drive and I wouldn't of been happy coming back home to find something missing or not working.

Believe me when I say that every order (apart from one) I've ordered from GrippaTank has been incorrect. I've must of spent around £4500.00  with them within the last 12 months.

Maybe I'm just unlucky.

Where else can I buy gutter / jet wash bits and pieces from?

So, I was suppose to receive 4 D.I brackets from GrippaTanks because of there cock up and guess what....

I only received two!

A complete joke.

Even the girl on the phone ensured me that there was 4 brackets packed up and ready to go and I quote "yes, 100% 4 brackets will be sent tomorrow"

Don't order anything from them, it was just cause you hassle

Our sincerest apologies to hear about this. It seems that one of the Packers has made a big mistake on your order twice now which we understand is unacceptable.

As mentioned before, please contact the office directly to resolve any issues as we are always keen to resolve the issue.
