You can't slander in writing - that would be libel.
Additionally slur refers to spoken not written.

If you judge the intelligence of your enemy by their grasp of the situation I somehow don't think you have anything to fear.

Sadly when using a modest size smart phone, i should be mindful to proof read before i hit the send button. But im sure you never get caught out by predictive txting on your phone at all. So hat off to you sir.
In addition, the flip side can be seen, where the company in question could be liable for claims against it by respective businesses in the trade.  Obviously this never happens in the world of business, protecting its own interest against any
rival company. Or is it just the corporate giants which do,,,,not the little man trying to grow his business!

Oh dear,  I was just in process of going to type No to the above response and ad I was in motion of doing so, I just had a call from a customer cancelling as found another cleaner. Asked if it was these and obviously it was. Now I thought her house was cheaply priced at 9 full house. Not fussed as they can't be making any money on, but is their tactic to drive everyone away and then bang price up! Now gusty been happy with service so it's just to save maybe a couple of quid, so can do without curries like that. However I personally begrudge under hand tactics and so sending email and let u know response. And how I will play this out..

let it go........just carry on working and offering the best service you can for a fair price.maybe do a bit of canvassing/leafleting of your own if you want/need more work.

competition is fierce and is everywhere but customers dont jump ship for a stranger unless their unhappy with your current service/price.

i lost one about a year ago.new guy is charging £7(i was charging £10).he has to climb on 2 roofs to clean a few of the windows as he s trad!id had the customer on my books for over 10 years but i always got the feeling she didnt like the price i was charging.he has 2 houses and i have 90+ on this estate.
