I'm 99% certain you won't get any response.
Your wasting your time bud, I  would forgot about them and concentrate on your own business.
Are they really having that much of an impact on you?

Oh dear,  I was just in process of going to type No to the above response and ad I was in motion of doing so, I just had a call from a customer cancelling as found another cleaner. Asked if it was these and obviously it was. Now I thought her house was cheaply priced at 9 full house. Not fussed as they can't be making any money on, but is their tactic to drive everyone away and then bang price up! Now gusty been happy with service so it's just to save maybe a couple of quid, so can do without curries like that. However I personally begrudge under hand tactics and so sending email and let u know response. And how I will play this out..

For a start its neither liable or slander its advertising, if you think an advert is misleading or wrong  then you have to take it up
with trading standards and good look with that one.
Put it this way I have yet to see a window cleaning website that doesn't claim something that's false or cant be proven either
way.

After working several yrs with British Telecom and closely with Ofcom, advertising does not give right to improper business behaviour. So as in this case a wrongful comparison being made and no small print which is required to clarify the above forementioned statement in question is given.
Yes it can go to trading standards and dependant upon the response which this company gives would dictate which path to take.  Small people normally roll over and take it up the ......... because they can't be bothered to stand up forthemselves and feel it's a waste of time. It perhaps is and no I'm not loosing sleep nor  plenty of customers over this to worry about it. But if it's the person whom I think it is, then their response would/could be discriminating against them and so on.

Slander as indirectly stating other window cleaners do not clean corners or clean to a satisfactory standards in comparison. Therefore calling into question the reputation of other window cleaners in the area which is being targeted.

Unless I am missing the point here, it's not the free cleans that is the issue here, but the part that says that
all traditional cleaners don't get into every nook and cranny. Do you know that to be a fact, or is it an assumption?

I know some trad cleaners (besides myself) who take extreme pride in the quality of their work, and take great pains to maintain an excellent reputation with their customers.

If this sort of advert was posted locally to me, would it bother me? Not in the slightest, as my reputation is very solidly based on quality, so I would just laugh at it! There may be others who might take it further though!
