I picked up some new work this month which means I can clean 4 small bungalows with the van parked in a single position. Considering I've only been going a year and the fact that I only have a 50m hose I'm quite pleased with this.

How about you guys? I'm sure there must be some of you that do far more than this ...

Often, I prefer to move the van rather than stretch the hose. There is one road where I could clean about 10 without moving the van, but I find the hassle of managing the hose means it's easier to move the van. Cul de sacs are great for this however. Tomorrow I've got one with 4 four bedders - three with conservatories, but to be honest I often feel knackered after doing them and need a break. I honestly think that from "an ideal work" point of view I prefer a stop with two house then move on. Much easier and a rest in between.

Im fortunate that my rounds are well established and i only need to move my van 3/4 times a day. But maybe my best one is where i park in middle of a long street and do around 14/16 without moving van

22 £10 terrace fronts that take less than 2 hours is my best and favourite run. I have quite a few 10/15 fronts from 1 spot then the rest is all 3/4 from a spot. I sold  and gave away all uncompact stuff as didnt find it worth doing.

28 housing association "granny" flats.i use all 100m of hose.i have loads of work that only requires me to move the van 2-3 times a day.mostly estate work.

today ill move the van 3 times all day(22 houses to clean)

tomorrow i have a run of 14 houses(both sides of the road)that i clean without moving the van.i find it easier to leave the van in one place for as long as possible usually due to parking issues.
price higher/work harder!

Well, not knackered, but a break is welcome after doing them. I don't stop for tea and biccies mind.  ;D

I'm all about efficiency now.

I move the van as little as possible. Reeling in the hose, packing the pole away, and driving the van is a waste of time if you can do it all from one move. I do a lot of areas that allows me to work all day with about 3 van moves.

It's nice to have a break though. Other days I'll be cleaning large properties and only do about 5 or 6 in a day, parking on the drive way of each.

Res work on blocks of flats I find easier to do than houses as access is genrally a lot better for very long hose runs.
Even better if you can get away with just parking up and not have to move the van again like some I do.

I've found it easier to move the van. It gets tiresome dragging that hose on long runs then trying to go round corners etc.. I do two terraced street that sort of meet like a T shape, i used to park in the middle and do the lot from there. I done that for a few years. I now move the van 3 or 4 times instead.

Likewise. It's much easier.

I tend to do large semi's and detached so I would be lucky to get away with 2 properties before a move,
but then most days I would be aiming to do 10 to 12 properties so not a lot of moves anyway.
