Used just under 1000 litres of water.
Yes im feeling it now! A long slog of a day but i enjoy these big jobs.
I always price on how long it will take. I work out how long each side will take then add them all together and add on for travel etc.
Paid subby £140 and lunch for the day.
It wasnt that far from you 8weekly i dont think. Job is near Slough off the M4.

Would it be worth considering using a pressure washer to clean such large areas of glass?

Yeah ?
It would seem unnecessary to me. I imagine the building is closed and that's the reason it's being done on Saturday. There being no one there.

Fair point. But it would make the picture look more pro :)

Most of the comments are in reflection of the image portrayed by the worker in being unprofessional looking for a legitimate business. So what would the general public witnessing this work think??!
Yes its about delivering an excellent service in cleaning to our clients but it should also be about company image for gaining additional work and business growth. So a more professional attire and maybe a high viz would reflect that.

Don't forget the hard hats too...It's all bull I know but makes for a good pic instead of a chap wearing a bobble hat ;D

Out of choice I prefer the bright yellow ones to white as stands out more. Mind you as Mick is the boss so a white one would be more appropriate.

Talking of clothing I'm starting to think there's a few of you on here with your bitchy comments that wear dresses.  :o

Hard hats? what a plonker , what are you going to get injured by on your head when window cleaning, you seem to be obsessed with your hard hat but it makes you look like you don't understand the health and safety rules

Shrek what do you think of this pic then. Would you say the chap looks a plonker or someone that looks professional and the firm that he work for takes ppe seriously?

I'd say his pole isn't long enough as it needs to be extended. He's going to damage his neck working like that.

That hat is about to topple off the back of his head. Then it'll be a trip hazard ;)

I wasnt trying to post a pro photo.
Just a photo showing a never ending looking day full of glass! It was cold so he had his wooly hat on! I dont see the issue if im honest but hey ho.
No need for cones or anything as was a Saturday with noone there and just us working behind security gates, if a weekday or a busy area all would be coned off and hi vis worn.
Here have another unpro photo of me farting in the van torturing the boys with the heating up  ;D

I don't blame the chap for wearing his bobble hat Mike as must have been darn cold working around that building yesterday.
You have my sense of humour Mick as that’s the sort of thing I would do  ;D
