Totally disagree with Kevin, get out and about and try different courses, You'll learn so much more than just trying one make of machine and listening to one trainer and using  a ltd choice of cleaning solutions and seals.  Variety is the spice of life.

But thats just my opinion.

Derek

So I am clear!  Which part of the post are you actually disagreeing with?

Yep!   You read it wrong!  Once again trying to hijack a  thread which was originally about him cleaning Victorian floors and proud of  the amount of other work he has got and then as an aside, mentioning a specific course he would like to attend  in the future which incidentally has nothing to do with messing around with big grinding machines you can't even remember the name of!

Thanks for all the advice guys.  We will be trying other courses at some stage as I like to keep an open mind.  Definitely want to progress onto grinding and polishing as well as the other concrete finishings but I won't be getting ahead of myself.  Really enjoying the clean and seal work at the moment.  Finding myself looking down all day thinking "what could I do with that" lol.

Kev thanks for the email regarding the crema marfil.  I'm sure I can manage that.

Again totally agree about trying other courses.
However when you complete the Marble life course you are not just getting training you are getting valuable knowledge and continued expert help and advice and also fantastic customer support.

I was on a concrete grind/polish job and I had a small problem, I called anthony for advice, as it wasn't easy to explain over the phone he and James drove a 100mile round trip from the job they were on to come and help me solve the problem at no charge.
Then I realised I didn't have enough densifier so I phoned Kevin at 7.30pm  and asked if he had any instock but because I needed it the next morning he arranged for me to meet Abbie half way along the M6 which was a 2hr round trip for her to bring me the densifier again no charge.
I then needed a part for my waterfire which Kev didn't have in stock so what did he do, he had it flown from Italy direct to where I was working the next day again no charge.

So the point I am making is would other trainers/ suppliers go the extra mile, I am defo not saying their training is no good or their customer service but would they do what Kev, Anthony, James and abbey do.

I do not knock other companies or slate them especially when I have not dealt with them so why others do is beyond me

I agree dave.  We are very much in our infancy regarding hard floor work and to be fair we have winged some of it but kev has always been there to answer any questions and his advice has ensured we got the results (satisfied customers and payed).  Hard floor restoration is something we are actively pursuing and working for.  We will be attending other courses and hopefully some specialist stuff to so if any of the other trainers are as helpful then the transition should be a very smooth one.

Well it was free to me but I guess it came at a cost to Kevin but as he never had the item in stock he covered the shipping.
So yes he does give exceptional service and knowledge.

Alex good stuff isint it ;) ;)
