here we go...... ive used the univalve  a few weeks now  and I have to say I  like the aquadapter better and that's not to say the univalve is crap just my opinion for what its worth any one else on the aqua dapter band wagon.i have a few spares for the a/d so when they run out I will use the un valve.

Why, do they not both do the same thing ? I would have thought the univalve would be better given the fact its
lighter and doesn't add length to the pole.

Well That's the first time I've heard someone say the Aquadapter is better for reasons not apparent.

the thing about the aquadapter is u can turn the flow to what ever u want if u have a dodgy window that leaks with a high flow u can turn the wheel half a turn to slow water down with out runing bk to van and messing about thats the only advantage i can c with the aquadapter ive yet to buy a univalve as my aquadapter is still going strong and got 4 springs in the van and 2 baynets when the baynets leak ill probly glue them in lol to stop  the dreded wet pole hose problim

its more fixable if the univale busts and you aint got a spare its awkward  I always carry spares to cover any issue for the a/d

Made all my poles hot swap able. So if a univalve breaks i can replace in seconds. No crimping or o clips needed.

I've got a JG fitted before the gooseneck so I can drop a valve in.

Aquadapter for me.
Univalve is stiffer to operate. Must admit, only 1 other person says the same thing.
You know when an Aquadapter is on or off. Lower pole and look at the X. With Univalve, is a guessing game.
Aquadapter is quick to swap or remove.
Sometimes that extra few inches make some windows reachable.
Cant tell weight differance

Uni valve is everything I could have asked for, beats the old A/d hands down, the operation at height is much smoother and I can now interchange from angle adaptor said to carbon goosenecks in a few seconds.

But you don't know if its the pump or a dead univalve. With a Aquadapter you just pop a pipe off...no water....its pump end.

no contest the univalve is fantastic .light and  small, a really good upgrade. the aquadapter is prehistoric in comparison
