« on: March 07, 2016, 11:41:16 pm »
Im cleaning a shop but there are water marks on the glass that wont come off with wfp. They are long streaks. Any idea guys what I could use?

Cheers,

Hi Steve, you could try to scrub the glass with a melamine hand pad/magic eraser pad which would be far more effective than using in combination pure and any type of brush when it comes to deep cleaning glass,  if you don't achieve required results then you could try using a limescale remover in combination with a melamine hand pad/magic eraser pad which should do the trick. Again just to share  melamine eraser pads are an incredible tool for deep cleaning glass but should always be used damp with water or a combination of water and the required cleaning solution.  Tadgh

the water marks r probly run off from the brick above and probly return after u get thyem off, ive never bin a fan of wfping shops good all trad is mch beta i think ,as u can c the finger prints and get them off, as above a strong cem with a magic spung will get them off

I wfp alot of shop and restaurant fronts, it's much quicker and does a better job then trad.
I would use a decent descaler to remover the streaks by hand then wfp.
Most shops and restaurants I do are weekly or 2 weekly so with the frequent cleaning the marks wouldn't have a chance to come back.

Run your fingertips over the wet glass. Its hardened calcuim oxide as someone said from render. I use that Dr Power stuff  it`s that stuff in the bright yellow pot you see in the supermarket and on the T V sales.
