I'm no expert but I think that means the Pressure Switch has activated.

What are the symptoms? Is the flow restricted?

OK so how did this come about? Were you using it and it stopped suddenly; did you switch on and the code came up? Or what?

It means that for some reason the pressure is at a level where the pressure switch has activated. But not being  a flow controller user I am not sure why that would be. Can you calibrate the sensitivity of the switch?

Sorry, not much help. Perhaps someone else will be along in a minute.

Sometimes backing the calibration down a little stops the pressure switch activating. However, If the pump doesn't run at all when you open the valve then I'm pretty sure one of your connectors has come apart. The pressure switch light (red) comes on with other faults I believe.

Reading your symptoms again I'll bet you've got a poor connection/loose wire somewhere.

Sounds about right Dave, most likely a bullet or spade connector worked loose with the vibration of the pump

Switch the power on, open the water valve then wiggle each wire and connection gently one at a time. One of them will be the culprit I'm sure. Could be a corroded connector or loose crimp. I suppose the pump could have siezed but I've never heard of one doing it.

The pressure switch is adjustable (as per this other post on another thread): http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=192847.msg1670467#msg1670467

Perhaps the pressure switch  sensitivity has drifted (if that's possible)  - might be worth a play.
