Invoice ?
« on: February 28, 2016, 08:38:54 pm »
Anyone use 'invoice2go' app ??
You can do an invoice on your phone looks professional & emailed within 2 min...(same with quotes)
Downside is a tenner a month & only 50 invoices per month (but that's enough for the commercial work)
Any thoughts on it or similar option ??

8weekly

Aworka generates invoices. £10 a month but it includes round management software as well.

My podgy fingers would never cope with that on a phone, cleaner planner generates invoices to email or send through snail mail.

I have a quote pad for most jobs, more complex commercial stuff I use a blank document on word and write all the blarney in that

Create your Invoice or Quote document at home, blank templates. Upload to Google Drive. When you're out and about access your document, in this case your invoice template. Edit it with the info you want on it. Then export as PDF. Then email it. Easy and free. Do as many as you like. More help on how to do it here..............

I'm not certain why people are paying even subscriptions for Cloud based computing when the majority of it is offered for free. You don't even need Office programmes on your computer/phone/tablet anymore. Some of you guys need to get in the 21st Century. :-)

Some might argue time is money so don't mind the added cost with the likes of a specifically designed icloud based software programme that can make it easier to run a business all from one backend interface online.

That sounds excellent. The specifically designed icloud based software in this instance is called "google Drive"  ;D

And the "one backend interface online" is called the "Drive" icon, you press it. As for the rest you've still got to type it in. Although to be fair for most things now you can just speak to your phone, for example tell it to send a text and it does, tell it to set an alarm and it does. I havn't tried it but i reckon if i say  "edit my google drive invoice template" then it will actually open it up ready to enter my details for the invoice. Shall i try it ?  ;D

Anyway it all sounds way too high tech for me as rather being in the icloud I would rather be in bed having an afteernoon snooze  ;D

I use it Pod, I love it, I got it at £5.99 a month capped. I finish the job, get in the van and within 60 seconds, the invoice is produced and sent, no faffing later at home.
The only thing I then do when I get home is wirelessly print the invoice from my phone whilst sitting on my arse watching tv  ;D

Hi Daz
It does look the business and at a d/d of £15 it's not too bad BUT not sure if it's quick enough to produce invoice /email etc on the go as some of these other apps (like invoice2go etc ).....I suspose it what's suits each individual
