Just did one of my custys. Shes in her 80;s but well switched on. She still practices as an accountant   Anyway. I was putting my hose away and the women next door (IN HER 60'S) rushed out of her chair and ran in my custys house.
She shouts " are you ok Clair" " yes why" "just checking" then she fires into me with a nasty tone. HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE. "£7" £7, YOU DONT EVEN DRY THE WINDOWS. No, its a different system blah blah. WELL MY WINDY CLEANS THE FRAMES ALSO AND ONLY CHARGES £5. While she was having a go at me, I was cleaning the inside of her window traditional as they were full of fat (for free ) Then she says. WELL I THINK YOUR OUTRAGES.
What peed her off was the fact It only took me about 3 to 4 minutes and I earned £7. He r windy will takes ages and get less. Plus he dries the windows !!!
Anyway. My customer didn't hear it and walked in to pay me. I told her she was a cheeky cow and she asked why. I told her and guess what she said.
Well, shes paid £5 for years.
Rant over. Really boiled my juices
