sounds like my son, he wants 14 laceup dr martin boots for xmas,      he thinks you can only buy them from the dr martin  official site  @  £130.         looked around and got them off amazon for £83.      they are actually from the official dr martin warehouse  but being sold new by another company nearly £50  cheaper.

most main reputable companys resin mb 115    will be the same quality,      but people seem to go with sites they are familliar with,    even though   they can  be saving money towards other items.

its the delivery prices which can actually make the price higher,      get some other things if it makes the delivery price   disapear

Interesting; what's your tap water TDS and how much pure do you produce?
We look at them, they look through them.

Because Mr Gardiner said so... OK! Apparently there are two grades as Desmond said but I would have thought the product would be clearly marked if this was the case.

Good morning everyone - you probably won't have heard of me before or indeed Resin Products Limited.
Resin Products Limited is the only official importer and wholesaler of Tulsion MB115 in the UK. Supplying 90% of all product sold.
WE CAN CATEGORICALLY STATE THAT THERE IS NOT TWO DIFFERENT GRADES OF MB115
We have access to every batch number produced by the manufacturer.
The manufacturer of Tulsion MB115 -Thermax maintains a very strict quality control system and are legally required to maintain a library of samples from every batch they make. If anyone has any issue with Tulsion MB115 resin supplied directly into the UK then please supply the batch number and we will check it out for you.

i think you may be getting mixed up with what alex may have been telling you, there is two different kinds of tulsion mb resin but ones called mb115 and ones called mb111 which is a lower spec resin apparantly, as Phil has said though regarding mb115 its as it is and not sold in different qualitys so to speak!

Phil
Great to have someone who may be able to explain about resin on here.
I can see MB111 described as producing Pure Water and the MB115 described as producing Ultra Pure Water
Does the MB111 achieve 000 TDS but not last as long as the MB115, or does it not purify the water as low as 000?
There are loads on here who use water well above 000 for cleaning windows could they use the lower spec resin if they are not bothered about achieving water at TDS 000?
Would you recommend a specific grade for hard or soft water as there is a massive difference throughout the country from as low as 30 TDS up to above 400?

Ion exchange resin is a very technical chemical product and each resin generally has its own application and use. Individual window cleaners often prefer a particular brand and stick with it and indeed their supplier. That's fine. To clarify: MB111 does have a lower spec than MB115 but both will pull down to 000 tds - MB111 will work just as well but does not last as long.  MB111 or equivalent is often used by glass / glazing manufacturers. There is a wide variation of TDS across the UK which is where good virgin mixed bed resin (MB) comes into play. MB115 on average should produce 20% more output than MB111 and other resins not of the same standard quality or high specification at an average input TDS of 333. BUT MB115 is not 20% more expensive. The lower the input tds - the longer it should last.
We will be bringing a new intermediate product to the market early next year -Tulsion 1060 - that might appeal to those looking for something a bit cheaper. It will be available from our web site or distributor network. Glad to help. Regards.

The price for Tulsion MB-115 is £78 inc VAT and delivery in your on line shop. Why is it more expensive to buy from you than Daqua, as you are the importer?
