Best brush for cleaning fibre glass car port?
« on: November 30, 2015, 10:35:25 am »
Just wondered what type of brush I would need to buy to get a fibre glass car port roof clean. I tried it with a normal wfp brush but came the conclusion that I would need something a little bit stiffer otherwise I would have been there a long time cleaning with wfp brush!

you can try any type of brush you like, it can be a long hard slog esp. If it has lichen on it as well, stiffer brushes don't really fair any better than medium or soft - you need a good solution of g101/ubik/TFR  to work into the grain. Having now done lots of fibreglass caravan roof cleans I pressure wash them using a mini flat surface cleaner, get great results and takes about 20mins to do

for fibreglass roofs i use a SL flocked standard brush on a 90degree carbon gooseneck.this way the brush is flat on the roof for maximum scrubbing.i usually squirt the roof with virosol in a pressure sprayer first.id use hot water too if you have a water heater.
price higher/work harder!
