Hi I really could do with some advice here.
We have literally been cleaning windows for 6 weeks traditional and already we are unable to take on new customers.
Every day has 10-15 houses for 6 days. (admittedly they are all dotted about as need to group areas better)
We are now thinking of taking someone on very quickly and so thinking that the reach and wash system is the way forward to not only be able to do more a day but so no ladders are used.
I just can't get my head around all these bloody systems.
Initially we was going to lease a van and thought about the trolley system and drums but now I'm wandering whether we are best to buy a window cleaning van with the system already in it?
Can someone give some advice on these systems please. Plus even if I knew which way to go which one is the best?

Buy a Tds metre & work out for sure how hard/soft your water is.
That'll determine your water purification route

If you go DIY route, its not hard...
All your doing is getting water from the tank to the brush head
You'll need:
Tank
Battery
Pump
Hose reel
Pole
Fittings to put them all together

It is that simple

Between the two of you, you'll get the 10-15 jobs a day done in a morning (if average houses)

Handy hint, clean the tops of the frames the time before you wfp them, make life a bit easier for you

You can go through the trolley/backpack route, some swear by it
But if you're going down the employing route, imo you'll get more done with a van mount system

your main set-up is to get your pure water equipment   installed.         in house or van

If I was in your position I would find a reputable dealer and get them to fit you a system, get them to throw in a bit
of training on how to use and look after the system as part of the deal.
No point in faffing about for the sake of a few quid especially when your in a hurry.
