Hi

I'm laying a patio in my garden and using sawn rainbow sandstone. It's beautiful paving and I would like to keep it that way. Any suggestions for an impregnating  sealer that will protect and Bring out the colour without looking artificial?

As I say this is my own patio so I want decent stuff.

Miracle 511 Seal & Enhance.  Two coats but leave 48-72 hours between coats.  If you want to know what it will look like before you buy simply wet the sandstone with a damp sponge.  Where you wet it will dry out as it is only water but the 511 Seal & Enhance will give you that look permanently

Rainbow sandstone especially the sawn finish is fabulous as long as it it laid properly and first coat of correct sealer is applied before grouting then a second coat after grouting?

i got an amazing deal on the salbs but they are wet, will that sealer allow the moisture to escape in the slabs? or should i let them dry our completly before sealing?

Read above quote ….thats why
 a) you got an amazing deal
b) you should not lay them.

i've bought it now.  if it should be sealed when dry i could either clean it and bring it into the house for a few weeks prior to sealing and laying to dry out or alternatively i could lay it, clean it thoroughly with pressure and hypo while it's down in the spring/summer when we have a warm dry spell and let it dry out naturally then seal it.
