Hi, got myself a extreme 47 , about 6 months ago, what a great bit of kit, make my swift* 45 feel like a proper whippy,  heavy cumbersome , shame you can't fit the extreme brush on it , probably make a big difference. Anyway my problem is bought an extension for the extreme which I leave on all the time, WHY does it not close up to the last section,  it makes the collapsed length about 6 inches longer than it needs to be, spoils things a little.

Glad you like the Xtreme47 - it really makes a big difference to the working day compared to a standard telescopic pole of the same height.

The extension is a modular extension and has a stepped portion on the base which allows for the next section to fit on. This is why it will not slide up fully.

There are other options. You could fit a #10 handle section from an SLX47 to the pole or you could fit the new Triple extension pack to the pole and only leave the #10 section fitted most of the time with the other sections in the van for those extra high jobs.

A more drastic option (  ) would be to carefully hacksaw off the stepped portion from the base of the section and fit a #10 end cap. This would then prevent extra length being added to the Xtreme Pole.

Thanks Alex, just out of interest you don't do a goose neck + brush which would fit a swift +, it would be make an ok pole a little better.
