I currently have these used for about a year now http://www.polimil.co.uk/haix-black-eagle-tactical-20-mid-boot.html , and by far the best boots ive used very comfy and water proof. Very well built and there is still plenty of life in them yet as you can just replace the inner sole for news ones when needed.

I just bought these.

I sent them back yesterday. They leaked. I have to hope now that they refund as I don't want a replacement. They are a Hi Tec brand if people didn't know.

Hi Tec? When I signed up I had to where Silver Shadows and they may be comfy but I've yet to see any athletes ware them!
However I've never heard anyone complain about the Magnums. Well... long term users.

On a recent post someone recommended Karrimor boots, so I've bought a pair today and I'm sure I'll be able to test there water repealing properties tomorrow. :(

Always worn Dr Martens, they just get more and more comfy over time and last ages, black 8 hole, apply dubbin when needed.

I buy the Karrimor hot rock boots very comfy , before i wear them for the first time i spray mine with a waterproofing spray my feet did get damp this week still they will get re-proofed this week had them 2 weeks now they will only last 3 months worn daily but i switch to another pair of boots when really wet .

Not waterproof though. I'd have thought that was the minimum requirement for WFP.

Do you lot stand in puddles or spray wfp all over your feet or something ?  ;D
unless yo want to spend silly money on a work boot that is truly waterproof then wellies are probably the only answer.
I'd do neither , but I just can't see how some people are managing to get their feet so wet .
If it was such an issue for me , I would probably buy some goretex or sealskin socks for a fraction of the price.
like I posted above, docs all the way for me, last ages , not waterproof as such but dubbin helps.

Same as Mick Kent and totally agree with Barry, I used to spend a fortune on waterproof boots until I realised that
my feet never got that wet even in light rain.
Comfortable rain resistant trainers are all I use now.

You don't work in the rain though so maybe flipflops?  ;D

Site Onyx safety boots from Screwfix £24.99 as Terry just posted.  Not found a truly waterproof pair of boots yet (exept wellies which aren't the best to work in) but these Onyx  are ok and good price.
