window cleaner in need of your help

Hi Guy's
Sorry for hijacking your site, but i am in need for a bit of advice from anyone that can help.
My 5 year old grandson spilt a glass of Lucozade (hope its spelt right?)on our living room carpet, the wife has tryed a couple of things, but nothing seems to shift the stain, so i told her i would ask you guy's who know what your talking about.

Jeff im afraid its in for good.Lucozade is very difficult to remove at the best of times let alone if it has been attacked first with other chemicals.Get a pro carpet cleaner to do a quick test to see if it has set ( which i would be pretty shaw it has now). Depending on the fibre and construction sodium metabitsulphate may reduce the colour stain.

I am as green as the grass outside, when it comes to stain removal, What is sodium metabitsulphate? and were would i get some. Thanks again for your help

try your local home brewing retailer. it is used for sterilising wine and beer equipment

It is a reducing agent and should be used with great care.I would not advise you to use it if you have never delt with it before as a too strong concentration can turn wool to mush.
