I have been asked to clean some solar panels on a customers bungalow which will be easily reachable with my CLX-22. I use a Gardiners Super-Lite medium mixed dual trim brush for window cleaning, will this also be OK for solar panel cleaning?

a black SL flocked  brush on a 90 degree carbon gooseneck is what i use for solar panels.the brush is flat on the panels and the soft bristles scrub well

Maybe SS could recommend a brush. It might cost you a couple of quid for the privilege though

What made you come up with this nugget of information, or rather question ? There's no legal requirement to have insurance to clean anything, let alone have public liability.

I was asking because I'm not sure if my public liability covers it or not or whether I'd need separate insurance.
-legal requirement is nothing to do it. If someone was cleaning my £12,000 solar panels, I wouldn't let them near it unless they are insured. It cost me £95 for the year to be covered for £5 million , so it's not as if it costs the earth
