Hey guys,
Gotta clean some old leaky Gothic style leaded windows tomorrow. A couple of them are the real flimsy, push the glass in types. Any good tips, apart from walking away!

Clean all the windows you feel are safe to clean  without damage  and explain to the customer that if they want the two flimsy windows cleaned you can't be held responsible for any damage. If WFP use a soft flocked brush and be gentle and don't knock the beading or frames with the stock. If there real bad leakers put someone inside with a microfibres mopping up as you clean.

Why would you want to clean something that will break if you touch it ?

I would only clean with a signed disclaimer in place.  But what you could do is get someone to hold a board on the inside where you are cleaning to resist the glass caving inward. But the money has to be good.

a  sprit type cleaner or vdu cleaner seldom  do one spray with a plant sprayer and carefully rub dry comes up a treat
