I have used it for some jobs where you want quick results on low margin jobs. It needs to go on very, very thinly in 2 or 3 coats with a very good applicator as it shows application marks all too easily. The floor has to be very clean and absolutely dry, with no smear marks. Apply from a tank or bucket using the applicator, never pour it in the floor and mop it out. Will last a good 12-18 months and strips off easily. Personally I now prefer penetrating sealers and a topical sealer over that. Much more durable and forgiving.

Which penetrating sealers do your prefer and which topical sealer do you use?  Can you also apply the sealers with flat microfiber flat floor pad? Thanks, Darran

I use miracle penetrating seal 511 with an overcoat of Miracle Sealants High Gloss Finish Sealer.  The evans sealer is applied with an applicator as microfibre material tends to leave a streaky finish because it picks up some of the sealer as it moves over the floor.  I would really recommend you purchase a proper applicator such as this to give a decent finish. They are only about £8.

Dont try and use penetrating sealer on vinyl  ;)

When applying topical seals to stone its worth considering the breathability of the product.

As the Evans product is most likely intended for use on vinyl floors it may not be a breathable product.

Some floor finishes are but up to a maximum thickness.
