Tomorrows challenge.
« on: July 30, 2015, 08:22:43 pm »
Someone phoned for a windowcleaner tonight. I started to tell her I had no more spaces left but asked her if I had been recommended by anyone. She said if she had been would I take her on? I tried to explain how difficult it was when people recommend me ad I turn them down. Anyway .............. she started to explain that the last couple of window cleaners they had tried used "long pole things and just squirted the windows and left them covered in spots" apparently they were always worse after they cleaned them than before they turned up.
Going to have a look tomorrow and try to improve things - might be a good reason they are so bad - we will see.

Options are......

Previously Terrible window cleaner
Or oxidising frames leaving spots.

There is also another option in that she is as mad as a ships cat but I hope for your sake Dave that's not the case.

Turned out there was a massive oak tree near the front of the house and pine trees to the side. Took a lot of scrubbing though and had to go over it three times incuding G101 and then Viakal  :o
New build too so maybe the builders had hosed it down at some point. Unfortunately she wants me to continue with the regular clean.

Sounds like you worked hard on that one. How long did it take and how much did you charge?

;D I never reveal my true earnings. That's between me, my accountant and unfortunately the tax man.
