Hi guys
All you that do domestic property's do you do a risk assessment/method statement for each of the properties you clean.
Do you have to keep a record of these by law in case of any accidents or if you need to claim from your insurers or is this just a commercial thing?

I do an on job risk assesment at every domestic property i do. I don't have to keep a written record of it. And i do a new assesment everytime i visit the property. And i'm mainly domestic.

Yes you should do a rams for every property you clean especially if you have employees and or use sub contractors.
But the question is how many do?

thats the old school way  i no a 72 year old wc who used to do this  all the time walking round leges ect it was normal back in the day

1 slip is all it would of taken tut tut

Yes, you need to find out from the property owner the correct procedure for fire evacuation. Make sure you document it correctly.
