So i use DI Resin, and was just thinking at some point in the future may need to use RO, can somebody explain how it works and how you filter the water, in the most simple way please?
Thanks guys

You plug it into to mains
It then goes through 3 pre filters (these take out things that may harm the main filters/membranes)
It then goes through the membranes taking out 95% of the solids in the water
The water then goes into your D.I
R.O's produce waste water
They need relatively high water pressure to work optimally so some will need a 'water pressure booster pump'
R.O's for dummies

An RO will have a membrane that removes dissolved solids under pressure, basically it forces the water through tiny holes
that don't allow the solids.
The waste water flushes away these solids and extends the life of the membrane.
You will have a carbon filter that removes chlorine which is very harmful to RO membranes and you will have a sediment filter
to protect the carbon filter as these may get blocked very quickly with sediment.
You may also have a GAC filter which is just another carbon filter.
That's it in a nutshell.
