Pricing commercial job
« on: July 11, 2015, 08:14:47 pm »

Hi

I currently only clean domestic properties, however one of my customers has asked me to price his work place aswell. As I have never done commercial before so im not how to price. Would I price same as domestic and price per window or change hourly rate and add extra on top.

going over to see them next week but already popped by to get a pic to get some advise from you guys.  Am going to put quote in writing to him once viewed, does anyone have a standard letter they use that I could use.

I currently clean by traditional methods and ear approx. £20 per hour.

Any advise very much appreciated.

Here's an example of the quoting template we use.

So would you price it as a two hour job?

Thats a simple 10 minute job.
£20  id go in at, nice and easy regular job if you get it monthly. happy days.  ;D
Im not sure about trad as only do inside or builders cleans that way for which i price accordingly but for Wfp I aim for £60-100 glass time domestic and £40-80 on domestic unless its a realy good earner which is rare these days i find.

Trad that should take no more than 30 minutes from pitching up to driving away. I'd go with £30 monthly

Thanks for all the replies.

On commercial properties would you include the frames or simply just the glass?

I only do commercial mate, outsides on that is max £20. Either way

Wfp it's taking 15 mins max say = £1 per minute and 5 mins to sort what ever is inside.

Definatley a monthly job and yes I would always inc frames on any job, if there is signage/advertising boards maybe charge accordingly to bump up price with extra work
