Well, I've been bashing and banging bits together today as I need to access 15 courtyards each having between 50 and 80 windows each and no vehicular access and no trailing hose either.

So here's attempt no.1 of a 100 litres trolley system...







Just got to wind some hose onto the reel, cover the battery and off we go (I hope!)

Only thing I'd recommend, although not sure if it'd make a difference...
Actually put the battery and wiring in a box. Will stop the wires and connections corroding due to condensation from the tank

Yes so far pump runs well, and  quiet considering it cost £8.99

Have a few little bits to do - need to trial it before doing loads more to it

Whats it like to pull about when full?

I've had a go with 'cheap' pumps before (john hewits), they where good to be honest but didnt last long (I think it was due to the strain it was under pushing through 100metres and 25ft up, but if you're not putting loads of hose on it'll be fine)

I guess if its a work in progress though and the concept works you can change as you see fit in the future...

Pushes and turns really well, I baffled it with drainage tube.

Putting on about 30 meters of hose and will be doing ground and first floor only

Looks good. I reckon it could do with some 'Odd Bods' stickers on the side of the tank or a bit of signage attached to the frame.

Will get pencil out but the trolleys are not cheap :/ one of the dearest bits on our machines we will be doing a 4 wheel version in th not so distant future too..... will email you now

Looks good is that a generator trolley . May have missed it in pic but I would put a fuse in wiring

My only concern would be the weight of the thing if having to hump it up/down steps etc but I suppose most places you will be doing will have access ramps.

Another option I suppose if you had access to an outside tap in those inner courtyards would be to use an ro/di or di only on-demad wfp trolley instead of having to hump the water about as well.

Hi Darran, it looks good.

Did you try it with the tank over the wheels and pump / battery the other end. My reasoning being (if it worked of course) moving the weight of the water over the wheels would make it more balanced and take some of the strain off your back.
