pressure drop
« on: June 21, 2015, 01:31:17 pm »
The pressure going into my RO has dropped by 10 lb.
I recently changed all the prefilters and resins.
Water production is also slower.
Is this normal and will it increase as the filters age a little?

Is your water pressure from the tap still the same ?

Water board can alter the pressure on supply or the mains could have a leak or work being carried out causing a pressure drop.

At long last sorted Smudger!
I had recently changed the pre filters and the membranes.
By a series of elimination I found it to be the flow restrictor valve.
When I put in a spare the pressure into the RO increased and all the nasty noises disappeared.
