Hi,  its seems my marrage is in the gutter so I have to sell the house and move on.  I have a full WFP setup but now need to be more mobile with my water purification sine the house is going on sale at the end of the week.

so I know I need a DI resin canister and a 40 40 membrane (HS5) but thats about all I actually know.

what else do I need to buy to make it work with a hose pipe guys?

First of all , sorry to hear about your marriage , it can be a tough time so hope your ok .

It may be worth buying water from another cleaner nearby until you are settled somewhere .

You don't know what water flow / pressure you will have when you move .

My house has low flow and pressure so have gone down to a 4021 and it works much better ( with a booster) .

So the only difference with my 200 GPSD system with booster pump and a van mount with 4040 is

1. the pipes are half inch
2.  there is a 4040 membrane instead of the 2 x 100 GPD membranes.

my Di is only 1l but I can change that later

You just need the same as you have now, just fit it in the handiest place you can find in your van.
I have mine fitted to the metal frame surrounding the tank.
Exterior ports can be handy as you can then lock the van while your making pure.

The only question left is how do you use the booster pump via the battery.  Its on a UK plug at the moment.

You wont be able to, you will need access to electricity or you could use a generator if noise isn't an issue and
it works out cost effective.
A 4040 membrane will still need a decent water pressure so if you do change to one make sure you still wont need the pump.

So how do the guys pump on site at customers.   There must be a way.  Can i use a 100 psi pump

If your talking about using customers tap water then the only way would be through a D.I. ,the tap pressure would be enough
so no pump would be needed, but this could be costly if the tap TDS is high.
Cant see how you could use an R.O. at a customers property as they are not really designed to be used for on demand water
but I could be wrong on that one.

I can't believe there is no one here that di/ro s directy into their van.  Does everyone just make it in their home.  What about commercials guys. 

I have seen a setup once before but never paid any attention since it was not needed....

Some cleaners have twin di's in their vans. They fill their tank with tap water and purify as they clean.

I have an RO DI in my van but it wouldn't be much use at a customers tap as it takes time to produce pure and you will still have to bring a hose to the van and a hose to the drain to remove the waste.
Plus if the customer is on a meter you will need permission before taking their water, not practical in my opinion.

1 will do you around 200litres in under an hour with the right flow/pressure

Fair enough, i dont sell them so i dunno about misleading!

I would think twice about using vyair, there pumps are a complete waste of time
