I have 2 con roofs to do tomorrow and have no virosol until Thursday, they are both very green just wondering what is a good substitute for virosol that I can purchase from b&q or supermarkets

Any caravan shops near you - fennicks caravan cleaner is good.

TFR from car shops

Or use a lemon flavoured washing up liquid, but this could end up a bit soapy

Just mix a strong solution of traditional cleaning fluid. It's what I use on the finials and the come up gleaming each time.

Cif cream, squirt on your brush and scrub away. The green will melt off..

I tried the Fenwicks caravan cleaner (available in Halfords) a few years ago but it seemed to take the shine off of the upvc which I didn't like.
I mainly just use pure water, did a minger yesterday afternoon that came up well.
If I use a detergent I usually just use Flash all purpose cleaner and might mix it with Ecover washing up liquid to thicken the mixture up a bit if squirting it on the brush.

Good idea  ;)
Rosskesava told me he uses ecover now rather than virosol with similar result.  As I've also run out and can't be bothered to pay postage on ordering more, I may try that.
