I don't do many but one prob I came across recently was sticky residue from new double glazing labels on upstairs windows. Is there any product you can apply to a brush to remove it or is it still an 'up a ladder by hand job?'

The build cleans that we do, every single window has one of these labels on.

From inside, wet it up with your applicator then scrape it off with a nice sharp Stanley scraper. If it takes more than 10 seconds per sticker it's taking too long.

Hi all, I made my first post on this thread in haste as I was going out so it was probably a bit misleading. I was referring to first cleans on either new properties or newly fitted double glazing where stickers or labels have been removed and left that annoying square mark in the corner of each window but the windows are otherwise reasonably clear of debris. These marks don't wash off with pure water or even something like viro-sol. At ground level they can be cleaned off by hand with soapy water and a scraper but upper windows were what I was enquiring about. I use ladders if I have to at the moment for the first clean then switch to wfp. But I was wondering if anyone has found a way to remove these marks with wfp? I should probably have started another thread. Apologies

You'll never get rid of these without getting up close.

We do a lot of build cleans on new builds and every pain of glass has one of these in the outside. They can be cleaned by reaching out, wetting it up with soapy water and simply scraping it off. Really simple.

If you can't get inside then yes a ladder is your only option. Price accordingly.
