any reason then folks why my output is still the same after 2 years ?? ? ?? ??

This is what I'm getting at I change my filters when I'm told to Matt doesn't change hiss for 2 years and the out put is still the same .. a very low tds count

Chris

Its all to do with the tap water in your area.  Seems like Matt's water is very soft and his water treatment system has very little to do.

Peter Fogwill

peter, its not, its 460 from the tap

OK confession time  :-[

I have a 200gpd Ro-Man unit.

Use around 3000 ltrs a week and I haven't changed the prefilters in the year that I've had it.  420ish TDS in and still gettiing 5 or 6 out as I always have.

If I get a year out of the membranes and prefilters at what they cost for the water I get out I am happy. Its probably down to what chlorine levels are in the water. As I said before the only purpose of the carbon filters is to get rid of chlorine.

In my defence I do flush VERY regularly..  shame on me.

Hi  007

Mine is marginal at 50PSI.

In truth I am getting around just under 500 ltrs per day (24 hrs) from it at the moment.

During the summer its nearer the 650 mark.
