Fitting a tank
« on: May 01, 2015, 06:01:11 pm »
I am planning on fitting a tank in a frame to my van floor.

Where is the best place to get the high tensile bolts and spreader plates?  Especially the spreader plates as I can't seem to find any!

And what length bolts would be best?

It all depends on what your frame's thickness width is. Grippa tank if i remember correctly comes with 130-150mm m16 bolts. You may want to use smaller ones but more of them. You can get  plates cut from local steel fabricator.
Wouldn't it be easier to order a kit from either wcw or if you can afford grippa? I know some people have other views and will shortly come around and state their opinion  :P >:( ;D
