« on: April 28, 2015, 10:12:49 pm »
For anyone that's undecided on which brush to buy, or interested in seeing the gardiner supreme brushes in action then on the gardiner youtube channel there has been a few new videos posted.

This is one of them,

To see the others just click on the channel and look at the latest vids.

The flocked one is a great brush, it's a close favourite to the soft hybrid for me.

Well done Alex that is a fine brush I do like the splay. I would go as far as to say the best Gardener brush yet.

Glad you like them - they are certainly proving popular with many of our clients.

Standard playback speed - it does look fast though on film  :) -  Seemed a normal speed while I was working though.

is there much difference in using a pole with these goosenecks on rather than the normal angle adapter as standard,
what size gooseneck have you attatched to your pole.

These are exactly the kind of leads ANY brush will work on and this is a poor example of how that brush works on leaded windows, that lead is so thin it's almost like a plain windows that's being cleaned there. Try it on leaded windows with older thicker lead or flat to the glass diamond leads, also cleaning downstairs you have far more direction and pressure you can apply to the glass, working a couple of feet away you can float it over obstacles but you try doing it 25-30 foot away it ain't happening

It is the 10" gooseneck. I find the pole much better balanced with these on and so much easier to work over sills.

Hi NWH

These Supreme brushes have not been designed to be the best brush for old fashioned leaded-light windows. They have been designed as a lightweight alternative to the SuperLite range and suitable for a variety of windows that make up the majority of windows cleaned by our domestic window cleaning clients.

As you are aware, the best brush currently in our range for the type of leaded windows that make up a large percentage of your, slightly unique, round is the zero degree Super-Lites as shown on our brush user guide - http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/water-fed-poles/brushes/brush-suitability-guide/brush-guide.html

I have commented about this brush Alex because there is a hell of a lot on here that are saying they are great on leads where's in the real working world there not, well at least on the type of windows I'm talking about. All I'm saying is that is not a traditional leaded light window it has very very thin strips of lead that are on some modern houses,so not a traditional leaded window. My point is if you think this will work on the said windows you'll be disappointed I've tried it and failed and when it comes to brushes and how they perform on certain windows I know what I'm on about I have had dozens over the years, very very few work well on the windows I'm talking about to the point they glide over with no bumping and flocking around
