extreme base sections

I'm going to get a extreme 25 with the 35 extension pack. I'm i right in thinking that the last sections on the 25ft can be clamped anywhere and not just top,middle,bottom of the section. Also is it the same for the extension set.

nope , all sections are clamped top , middle or bottom .

To be honest after a day of use i was used to it , i know some people don't like it though .

its worth it for the weight saving and the rigidity in my opinion.
