Going to seal some gutters tomorrow using roofing tar stuff in a tube, I've used it before but it doesn't seem to dry well. It always seems like soft Tarmac texture.

Does anyone use any products they can recommend that they have used before. We cleaned the gutters out last month but there is a small leak and I want to get it done with us having dryer weather

I was recommended it by guys who specialise in gutters. When they have to join pieces together that are no longer manufactured, they use this. Or for times when having to join cast iron gutters to PVC.

It goes like a fibre glass, you can see fibres in it when you spread it on the join, and goes rock hard. It will outlast the gutter that's for sure.

Yes,  very similar to the everbuild as above turns into a fibreglass type substance when cured, you can apply in the rain as well

I know this stuff works, I put a 10mm hole in my buffer tank when the pressure washer exhaust was blowing directly on it, I used this to seal the hole and it's never leaked while holding back 100 Ltrs of water

I keep my old squeegee rubbers for sealing leaking gutters. Works 99% of the time.

Depending what the gutter is made of if PVC I would just loosen the gutter joint and clean the use some same color silicon sealer if the rubber seal is good or replace rubber.

I use the same as smudger 'seal fix' very good, but can get very messy!

Quick update
I sealed the gutters with a roofing sealant called FLEXACRYL that I got at travis Perkins.

£20+vat trade only though.

If the reason for leaking is due to perished rubber gaskets on a gutter union, end cap, running outlet etc, then I'd always opt for just replacing the whole part.  Try and find an exact match manufacturer wise and you'll make it an easy job. If the parts are obsolete or it's a very unusual hard to source/replace guttering system then go with the above.
