ive never bothered.just rubber mats down in the back of mine.i sold a 14 years old kangoo last year after 4 years WFP and i used to flood it at least once a month!no rust whatsoever.
price higher/work harder!

Yes mate, loads of rust staining, so I decided to paint with protectacoat , have a few scuffs where it has rubbed off and started getting rust marks so will paint again wen I get a chance to empty van

Never waterproofed a van floor in 11 years of wfp. However, My system is dry so my van floor is also dry. The worst it gets is a few drips now & then which is then immediately cured.  ;)

No rust. Tank only over filled twice. Float valve fitted and no more floods. Most water is from disconnecting reel
