Hi daz , hope it's not a sensitive subject but I'm interested in what motivated u to turn your life around. Can u remember that day where u said enough is enough and you made the change. Although your not a multi staffed millionaire I've found your enthusiasm and achievements enspiring .

Thanks Steve

being skint,in debt and a 1000 really bad hangovers! ;D

it all started 12 years ago(when i was 31).i realised if i didnt do something i was gonna lose my round/sanity/health etc so i sought help through AA meetings and slowly, slowly i started to get better.it took a few years to get some sort of sober life together and started working on my debts which took me about 5 years to pay off while i built my round up again.

then 6 years ago i got my first computer(an old laptop off my dad).(before this i didnt even know how to turn one on!) ;D

i stumbled on this site and asked a lot of questions then after about a year when id got some money together i went WFP and since then ive gone from strength to strength.took in a lot of advice off here, worked hard, invested in better equipment etc, picked up a lot more better paying jobs and put my prices up several times.

its been a slow burn and its took me years to get where i am today but im proud of my little achievements and the round ive got today.

Well done Daz.
As a fellow traveller of the dark road, I know what it takes.

AA - altered attitudes.

Dazmond knows that himself.
You want to watch that negativity; it's not good for you; but you shouldn't have got like that in the first place.
You could learn something from Dazmond.
And he plays the drums not the violin.

yeah your right scrimble i shouldnt of but in a way its been a good thing as i appreciate every day now.suffering and misery is good for character building especially if it causes a deep change in attitude and outlook.no violin.just drums and percussion! ;D

the changing fortunes of time eh?

here i am at 6.50am,clean shaven, dressed, had my breakfast and now looking forward to the working day ahead.plenty of work to go at,money in the bank.bills paid and a holiday in a few weeks.

cheers lads have a great day
