Pocket George and Palms

Hi
was considering purchasing a Palm for pocket George to save me print worksheets daily.  It states you need Palm OS v 3.5 or above, can you tell me which models of Palms are compatible.  e.g  Palm IIIx PDA, Palm TX PDA, Palm IIIc 3c.  welcome your experience or knowledge, really want to become more mobile with software whilst out and about.

would it be easier if you get an ipad instead? the resolution and screen size is much better. I also wouldn't want tons of papers in my room
