bits on brush
« on: March 20, 2015, 09:58:32 pm »
Had quite a few bad first cleans. My brush head was full of cob webs and like. Whats the best way to get them off. Thing is I do frame first which leaves crap on brush for the glass. I try to find a ruff none abrasive surface and rub fast. Still a pain

I have a Harris pole with a cobweb brush attached, if the frames are badly contaminated with cobwebs I clean
them with this first.

Good solution sean and if you wrap a damp Terry microfiber cloth over the cobweb brush it will make easier work of removing them.

I use an old plastic comb (no use for my head anymore  ;D) lives in the van toolbox for 1st cleans.

Me too.  Must give credit the Steven Jones for that one. No good for flocked brushes though.

Just flick  the brush head fast with your fingers and it all falls out. Works.

I use a small stiff hair brush to remover the cob webs off the brush bristles.
