Transfer hose

For anyone that uses transfer hose, when you have pumped the water out to your van, is there an easy way of getting the water left over in the hose back into the IBC or  into the van tank? I have my submersible pump, then a couple of metres of hose coming out of the lid  to 1 1/2" couplings, then  about 10 metres of 1 1/2" hose to get to the van, should I have a valve or nozzle on the end of the hose?  I thought I would just be able to unscrew the couplings then put away the hose, didn't realise how heavy the hose would be when full of water :-\

 on meter so have to use shut off valve (cam lock ball valve -depending where you are looking)

When you take pipe out off van lift it up in the air and the excess water should run back into other tank thats what I do then coil the pipe back up , hope you understand what I mean

Is there a tranfer hose that doesn't kink purchased mine from pure freedom 1/12 yellow Hose

Try that with 30mtrs of  1" 1/2 hose  :P :P

Can't you put the plug in the socket backwards and run it in reverse?

More seriously, if you disconnect the coupler at the tank, can't you drain the water onto the floor?  10M of 32mm hose only holds about 8 litres.

Mine is 30 mtrs  I just lift it and just keep following  pipe along  till I get near the tank if you  understand  what I  mean
